COVID Protocol

Attending an in-person postpartum doula training or any other in-person class with Kathrin Auger

Your health is of the utmost importance. For the protection of all my students, due to the coronavirus outbreak I am requesting the following:

If you have an illness or are exhibiting symptoms, I ask that you not attend any live event. You can transfer your enrollment to the same future event up to one year from the time you enrolled. Please see my Terms & Conditions page for more details.

 Illnesses and symptoms include, but not limited to:

  • a cold or the flu
  • fever or nausea
  • severe headaches or body aches
  • muscle or stomach pain, chest pain or difficulty breathing
  • vomiting or diarrhea
  • active tuberculosis (TB)
  • mumps, measles, chickenpox
  • other contagious disease

To comply with the recommended safety precautions due to the COVID-19 pandemic I’ve implemented the following in our classroom:

  • Smaller group size to facilitate social distancing
  • No communal food sharing
  • Supplied hand sanitizers for your use
  • Break rooms, bathrooms, and other common areas will be disinfected daily 

I ask that all participants attending the event:

  • Maintain social distancing as much as possible
  • Wear a mask is at your own preference
  • Minimize physical contact
  • Wash hands frequently – Whenever you enter or re-enter the classroom and after using the restroom
  • Sneeze and cough into a tissue and dispose of properly

Here are changes that will stay in effect for the near future once you enter the training/class space:

  • Bring note-taking materials and your own water bottle if at all possible.
  • Wear layered clothing and bring socks if needed. The training space is a shoes off place.
  • When you arrive for the first day, please use the hand sanitizer on the table and complete the Covid questionnaire.
  • Sign the “live workshop waiver.” If you would like a copy, please let me know.
  • Create your name tag (supplies are on the sign in table). Enter the classroom and find a seat. Please use the restroom to wash your hands.
  • Coffee and tea as well as individual snacks are provided. You are encouraged to bring your own snacks. Lunch is on your own.
